John Bull Clothing has been established since 1984 and prides itself on its reputation for customer service and value for money.
Originally, the only units that had any insignia extra to rank patches/slides on their smocks were the Airborne Units with their wings and DZ Flashes, some Combined Ops outfits, Air Despatchers and the EOD Group.
Now Trade Recognition Flashes are abound in various shades, colours and hues; denoting brigade and parent unit in all manner of both traditional and non-traditional designs.
The colours of the TRF are sometimes derived from the unit's stable belt.
TRF's should not be confused with formation signs or insignia, which are used to denote the formation (usually brigade or division or a higher HQ) and are worn in addition to TRF's by a member of any regiment or corps serving in that formation.
