Description

With its central eagle motif (signifying flight power) surrounded by a circle of laurel circle topped with the British crown, the Army Air Corps Beret Cap Badge is most often seen on their distinctive pale blue berets.

Formed officially in 1942, the Army Air Corps was preceded by the SAS, and currently it contains about 4,600 as numbers are boosted by personnel from other regiments for training and logistical purposes. Since 2019, the AAC utilises only rotary aircraft such as the well-known Westland Apache and Gazelle.

This Army Air Corps Beret Cap Badge is made to exacting MoD quality, with the necessary styling detail and a strong fastening. It is not made from cheap ‘stay bright’ but from a brass alloy which can be polished and will look good for many years.
