Military Clothing – Most Commonly Used Military Clothing for Civilians
Military clothing is so well constructed that it has many applicable uses for civilians in day to day activities. Of course, the principle objective of military clothing is the comfort and safety of infantry but more civilians are seeing the benefits of military clothing.

The uses for military clothing in civilian society are many and varied but, it goes without saying, that some forms of military clothing are much more suitable for civilian use than others and looking at the most commonly utilised military clothing amongst civilians helps to reveal some of the tangible benefits that this sort of clothing can have for many scenarios that civilians encounter on a day to day basis. The design of military clothing is fairly meticulous and it is done with the best interests of military personnel in mind in terms of the sorts of terrains and weather conditions that they are likely to encounter when they are engaged in battle of training for warfare. For example, much military clothing is designed with extreme weather conditions in mind and this is something that can come in useful for many activities carried out by civilians.
Military Clothing – From Gloves to Backpacks
The diversity of military clothing is extensive and not all of it is applicable for civilian use but it is fair to say that many facets of military clothing can be highly useful for civilians in a myriad of scenarios such as adventure sports like mountain climbing and trekking. Just some examples of the most commonly used military clothing used by civilians on a regular basis include:
• Gortex Gloves – These types of gloves are commonplace in military clothing and many civilians utilise them as well due to their numerous benefits. Gortex gloves are highly proficient at keeping hands warm and dry which is why they are a highly valued form of both civilian and military clothing.
• Combat Boots – A large part of military clothing is in terms of the footwear and combat boots are a highly durable form of footwear that can have many useful applications in the civilian world such as for hiking, hill-walking and so forth.
• Bergen – Whilst not actually military clothing as such, the bergens, or backpacks, used by military personnel are highly valued by civilians due to their immensely durable material and excellent storage potential which makes them ideal for camping or adventure holidays.
