This Silva Compass Militaire is an advanced compass designed with the military in mind, as it features the mils measurement on the inside of the dial. It does still provide graduation in degrees too, so is what is referred to as 6400/360
With its magnifying lens and rubber feet for great “stickiness” whilst laid flat on a map or case it really is great for precision map reading. Also included at the front is a luminous tritium compound that is activated by light and then remains light for up to 4 hours through the night
