I have used the wax oil several times on my leather walking boots and the oil has improved the water repellency of the leather.

Great watch, easy to read in varying light. Very comfortable for the size, so light you forget it is on your wrist. Readings from altimeter and compass have proved to be accurate. A bargain outdoor watch.
