Altberg introduced the Svartz range of shoe/boot absorbers to the market from increased demand from customers asking for a supporting footbed solution to work with their boots. Rather than designing an insole solution purely for their boots, they introduced this Absorber model that has extra increased cushioning and shock absorption for maximum support
To compliment the natural alignment of the foot, ankle and knees, this is designed to provide support with its unique shaping to the underfoot, particular towards the back of the heel where the foot bears most pressure from the bodies weight. These foot beds lend themselves to multi activity, but were designed for running, tabbing and hiking in mind
With its maximum depth measuring in at 7.5mm at the centre heel (5mm forefoot), you can use with most running shoes and boots, and can even interchange between your footwear given their reasonable rigid design
The footbeds surface has been made with their Meshtex lining which is used in a couple of their warm weather military boots: Altberg Jungle and Altberg Desert. This liner has fantastic minimal water retention features which aids the quick drying nature and is extremely breathable at the same time
