Sobald es aufgetragen wird, bietet es Wasserdichtigkeit für Ihren Militärstiefel, und mit der Zeit dringt das Öl tiefer in das Leder ein und hilft, die Geschmeidigkeit des Leders zu erhalten - dies ist der häufigste Grund, warum das Leder anfängt zu reißen, wenn das Leder trocken ist und relativ keinen Ölgehalt mehr hat. Der Wachsanteil bleibt größtenteils nahe der Oberfläche, was dann die Wasserabweisung bewirkt.
Wie bei allen Behandlungen kann die ständige Anwendung von Leder-Gris Wachsöl das Aussehen Ihres Stiefels verdunkeln, aber in Verbindung mit Leder-Glos hilft es, die Wasserabweisung und den Glanz der Stiefeloberfläche zu erhalten.

Gebrauchsanweisung
Die ideale Art, Ihre Stiefel mit Leder-Gris zu behandeln, ist, das Wachsöl in fast trockene Stiefel einzubürsten - dass die Stiefel fast trocken sind, hilft, wie das Wachsöl in das Leder einzieht.

JB's knowledgeable and Informative staff listened to my request and helped with choosing a Last pattern and size (one half size up & A Forme) to suit my feet.
They recommended, but only after i asked (it wasn't an upsell) the Svartz Absorber Footbeds (so glad i got them). I also invested in some Leder Gris, staff advising the basic carton would be good enough, i wouldn't require the parade ground gloss pack for my needs. again well worth it for the weather protection (lots of grass and mud here)
This all worked out very well. Boots were initially "snug" but the obvious high quality of materials and workmanship allow the boot to break in naturally.
It adds confidence that when the boots wear down, Alt Berg will repair them at their own factory.
Despite being in a busy period catching up after xmas/newyear orders JB got the boots out that day, to arrive the following day.
They also went out of their way to honor a discount code I applied late.
I have no hesitation in recommending both John Bull as a retailer, and Alt Berg products.
When I buy again, both JB and Alt Berg will be the first port of call.

Let's start with the speed of delivery. I ordered these boots in the afternoon and I had them at my door the next day. Super quick delivery. No problems at all.
