The Mk5.0 was already serious cold-weather kit. The Keela Womens Mk6.0 Belay Jacket takes that proven protection and makes it considerably sharper, more female-focused and better integrated with operational equipment.
The Keela Womens Mk6 Belay's biggest advancement is the cut. Shaped specifically around the female form, it improves comfort and mobility without drowning the wearer in excess fabric. The shorter length sits above an assault belt, while two-way side zips allow rapid ventilation, easier donning and unrestricted movement around webbing.
Cold protection remains formidable. Fully waterproof, windproof and breathable, the Mk6.0 combines Keela’s condensation-controlling SDP system with 133gsm PrimaLoft Gold insulation. It stays thermally effective when wet, delivering a -15°C comfort rating and -20°C extreme rating.
Unlike the Mk5.0’s proprietary MTC pattern, this Womens Mk6 Belay model wears genuine IRR-compliant MultiCam. Reinforced 330D nylon shoulders add durability beneath body armour or a loaded day sack.
A helmet-compatible wired hood, pit zips, articulated elbow-pad pockets and water-resistant YKK storage complete the upgrade.
