The brand-new Suunto Core 2 All Black Tactical Watch takes a proven outdoor classic and makes it tougher, clearer and considerably more capable.
Built for military personnel, outdoor professionals and serious adventurers, the Core 2 combines an altimeter, barometer and precise digital compass in one rugged, stealthy package. Track elevation, watch atmospheric pressure trends and receive storm alerts when conditions begin to turn.
Navigation remains reliable away from mobile coverage. Bearing lock and adjustable magnetic declination help you hold direction when landmarks disappear or visibility drops.
Suunto has introduced some worthwhile upgrades. Water resistance leaps from 3 ATM to an impressive 10 ATM, while the tougher Gorilla Glass display replaces the previous mineral crystal. Larger buttons improve operation when moving quickly or wearing gloves.
The switchable red or green backlight is another field-ready addition. Use green for everyday visibility or red to help preserve night vision. The high-visibility display also remains readable in bright daylight.
Battery life now reaches up to 15 months, with a replaceable CR3032 battery and low-battery warning. Bluetooth enables convenient syncing and software updates.
A silicone strap, step counter, moon-phase display, sunrise and sunset information, dual time, alarms, stopwatch and countdown timer complete this seriously useful tactical outdoor watch.
