Description
The Blueline Police boot is the new generation of the Altberg police boot which have been in service with UK police forces since 1994. The Blueline Microlite boot was developed during 2018/2019 and the result is a better fitting boot with improved mobility for running, patrolling, and vehicle use.
The boot has stronger lateral support for increased ankle stability on uneven ground. Many of the materials used in Altberg's Blueline boots are the same as the original Peacekeeper, so tried and tested since 1994.
Altberg use top quality full grain leather and it is essential that they are treated regularly with Leder-Gris in order to keep the leather supple and water resistant.
The main improvements are:
The last (foot shape) is much improved, narrower heel and more natural forefoot shape with toe spring, based on running shoe technology
Increased ankle protection with full 2.4mm Anfibio leather flex area above instep around leg to give complete achilles flex and comfort
Re-design of tongue leather to improve 'water run off' and lacing comfort Lower leg for enhanced mobility and comfort

• Upper: 2.4mm full grain Anfibio water repellent leather (foot and heel). 1.8mm soft supple full grain water repellent leather (leg and tongue)
• Lining: Forefoot: spacer mesh, maximum breathability and zero moisture retention. Heel: Cambrelle breathable, absorbent, for all day comfort
• Midsole: Tri-Flex 1-2 season, a combination of medium flex and torsional resistance, excellent 'all day' comfort, midsole is shaped to each individual size to enhance all day support and reduce foot fatigue
• Sole: Altberg Rhino – shock absorbing full deep rubber surround and hiking boot tread, tested for slip resistance (SRC) and oil & acid resistance
• Weight: 675g (size 8)
• Height: 21.5cms (size 9 including heel)
• Footbed: Trek Airgrid Black
Size and Fitting Advice

The overall process of ordering was very straightforward and simple on the website.
I selected express delivery for delivery on the next business day . Placing the order on a Saturday I did not expect delivery on Sunday however I anticipated delivery on the next business day being the Monday. Courier issues meant I received the order on the Wednesday , five days after initially placing the order . That's my only gripe , otherwise a good experience

I ordered a pair of the blueline Altberg boots, when they came to pick the order it was quickly realised that the stock didn’t match up and they didn’t have any in stock. I was emailed right away where, not only were they very apologetic, but I was very kindly offered a pair of more expensive sneaker boots. (Definitely better as well) not only did I benefit from a lighter more comfortable pair of boots, but there was no question about how they could help me out.

Being on my feet up to 12 hours a day wanted a good quality all round boot for driving and being at work .Very pleased really can't say anything negative about boots really what I would expect from Altberg the British Bootmakers .Delivery was fast and no problem very pleased with service at John Bull clothing.
I've worn these for 2 weeks now, long shifts on my feet constantly and for the first time in the past couple of years I'm not getting home with aching feet, knees and back.
Super comfy and not had to go through the turmoil of breaking them in.

My partner surprised me with a pair of these boots and they’re incredible, he’s die hard Altberg boots however I was not convinced they’d be worth the money. They absolutely are and they’re so comfy and robust- would definitely recommend!

Altberg Blueline Black Police Boot
These boots are so sturdy and can tell they’re hard wearing from get go. Waterproof too, which is great, but I do find them fairly heavy and not easy to run in. I’m going to assume through west they will become more supple though. All round a good win from me and saves me from getting trench foot wearing my previous boots 😑

I haven't had chance to fully get some good use out of the boot yet but off the bat it's a a solid comfortable boot and you can feel the quality. I have sized up a half size so I can wear bigger socks and they fit nice and snug. Service from John Bull was efficient, boot shipped quickly and would definitely order again.
