Its role is straightforward: buffing and “driving in” wax and oils like Leder-Gris or Leder-Glös into the leather. Not just sitting on the surface, but worked deep into the boot where it actually protects and conditions.
Use it after applying wax. Work the product in. Then buff off to a clean, even finish. Helps improve water resistance, restores appearance, and keeps leather supple.
Why use it? Because cloth isn’t enough. This gets product into the leather properly and finishes it off clean. Basic bit of kit. But essential if you want your boots looked after properly.
