Created over 30 years ago, we here at John Bull have been selling the Mountain Shirt for a similar time, working closely with Buffalo and providing feedback that has refined its development since.
The original Olive Green colour was popular with the British Forces and is still our most popular finish, but over the years Buffalo have increased their portfolio to provide options for the outdoor adventurist and Charcoal now presents a classy option for weekend use too
Formerly manufactured from Pertex Classic, the other shell now utilises a Pertex Quantum shell which provides excellent warmth in multi-conditions by helping to trap internal air which in turn warms up the body. The DWR (durable water repellent) technology also provides protection from light rain and snow
On the inside, the garment boasts an AquaTherm pile lining which is designed to fit close to the body, even worn next to the skin, to provide efficient heat retention properties - altogether an incredible lightweight, hard performing Mountain jacket that is very dependable
