This is Camelbak’s latest and refined 2020 model of their Motherlode backpack - the Motherlode Lite has been modified and improved extensively with valuable feedback from serving soldiers. Manufactured in British MTP camouflage colours it is one of the go to pieces of kit for the British soldier, tried and tested under extreme conditions and carries their lifetime guarantee for complete piece of mind
The capacity of the Motherlode Lite is still impressive at 37L and measuring approx 50x34x32cm is compact and functional. Recent improvements with the design featured reducing the weight (1.6kg with empty reservoir), in doing so Camelbak removed their old waist belt and replaced with a strap which performs equally as good. The two outer pouches - one on the front and the other towards the bottom offer a quick go to compartment, with the larger bottom pouch supplied with mesh pockets to organise your kit. The smaller front pouch lends itself perfect for googles or lens protection kit with quick entry
This backpack has features galore and is fully compatible with Molle pouch system to name but a few, and Camelbak’s Air Director back panel which provides greater load balancing and ventilation. Even thought towards low infrared material has been employed to specifically reduce reflectivity in the near-IR light range (0.7 to 1.3 microns)
The 3 litre Mil Spec Antidote reservoir is robustly designed and features OMEGA wide mouth opening, HydroGuard which is designed to deliver the safe, clean water during extreme conditions. Simply a great piece of kit and one that will not let you down
