Compared with the HIG 4.0, the key upgrade of the Carinthia HIG 5.0 is the new internal quilting design, developed to reduce cold spots. Optimised inner and mesh pockets provide practical space for warming and drying gloves, while an updated two-way front zip improves flexibility in use. A zipped Napoleon pocket keeps smaller essentials secure.
The established G-LOFT insulation specification continues: 145g/m² through the body and 110g/m² in the sleeves. Carinthia positions the HIG 5.0 for operations down to -20°C, with suitable layering and activity levels remaining part of your cold-weather planning.
The CARINTHIA SOF 2L outer fabric delivers windproof, highly water-repellent protection. Underarm pit zips let you release excess heat during strenuous movement, then close up when the pace drops.
