The Halo Smock has fast become the go to choice for many a soldier as a cost effective and functional jacket solution. The 210T nylon Ripstop shell fabric coupled with the micro fleece lining makes this jacket a warm and robust option out in the field

This Halo smock jacket does have a waterproof coating over the surface and actually is fully machine washable too. Built into the design of the Halo smock are YKK zips and tapered seams to give you that peace of mind knowing the working parts will last

A neat feature of the jacket is whilst it provides a warm solution during cold weather it has underarm vents that can easily be opened during milder conditions to encourage air circulation. Utilising the YKK zips within a matter of seconds you can open the vents to cool dow

Good but

First off, Great service from John Bull (selected next business day as short notice trip), will defo be using them again! Jacket: good quality, although in the small size (am a standard XL), tried on an XL elsewhere & too small particularly in the arms, ordered an XXL & tbh body same size, arms about 20mm longer, so in no way XXL! Kept it because needed it & made do with tight body &slightly short arms (worn under plate carrier). But that being said, it’s a nice jacket & breathes well.

Good bit of kit

Great service from John Bull nice and quick the Halo Smock is a nice bit of Kit very well priced it packs away reasonabley small but is a nice warm layer without being to restrictive and bulky used up in northern Scotland and its working well so far

Halo Smock

Been wearing the Halo Smock for a week now and all I can say is why didn't I get this sooner... A proper Gucci bit of kit.. Fits brilliantly with room for a layer or two underneath, but you'll probably only need one layer in anything other than winter... The fleece lining is warm but with the armpit vents you can cool down enough. I can see this lasting for a good couple of years with what I will be doing. BZ John Bull!
