At its core, the jacket is insulated with PrimaLoft I-2001 at 60 g/m², offering reliable warmth without the bulk, which makes it ideal both as a mid-layer under a shell and as a stand-alone piece.
Mobility has clearly been prioritised in its design: this Primaloft thermal jacket incorporates knitted stretch panels (polyester/spandex) that allow for a full range of motion during dynamic operations or field tasks — no restriction when you need to move quickly. Meanwhile, the outer shell is crafted from a durable blend of 88% nylon and 12% spandex, providing resilience in cold, harsh conditions without compromising the low weight.
To retain heat efficiently, the jacket features a fixed insulated hood and elasticated knitted cuffs, helping to trap warmth around the head and wrists. Ventilation is handled by under-arm elastic “vent” areas, allowing for airflow when activity levels rise.
Storage-wise, the Stoirm Primaloft thermal jacket is well-considered: it has external zippered pockets on the chest and upper arm, plus an internal chest pocket — all usable in the field. There’s also a hook-and-loop patch panel on the shoulder, giving you a place to attach identification or morale patches.
