This quality UK made polyester Parachute Regiment (Wings Pattern) tie on a maroon backing features the Para Regt wings logo woven in the fabric

Originally formed during the 2nd World War, the Parachute Regiment boasted 17 battalions making numerous divisions and groups within the British Army, deploying all over the globe. Towards the end of the 2nd World War this was reduced to 3 battalions: 16th Parachute Brigade, 5th Airborne Brigade and 16th Airborne Division (mostly reserves from the Territorial Army)
