Einer der neueren Stiefel von Altberg, basierend auf ihrem Sneeker Microlite Stiefel, dieser Tabbing Tactical Elite Stiefel ist sowohl in Schwarz als auch in MoD Braun erhältlich; wir bevorzugen jedoch die braune Version, da sie so konzipiert ist, dass sie die moderne Multi Terrain Pattern (MTP) Tarnkleidung ergänzt.
Aufgrund seines Designs mit relativ kürzerer Schafthöhe fördert er die Beweglichkeit beim Laufen/Marschieren und unterstützt in Verbindung mit seiner stoßdämpfenden Zwischenschicht und der bewährten Vibram-Sohle den hinteren Teil des Fußes und bietet eine „Rocker“-Zehenanhebung, die den Druck auf den großen Zeh erheblich reduziert.
Letztendlich basiert dieser Tabbing-Stiefel auf einem Laufschuhleisten, wurde aber für den militärischen Einsatz in allen Bedingungen modifiziert. Dies ist Altbergs leichtester Militärstiefel und wurde mit ihrer Cambrelle-Membran aufgerüstet, die, obwohl nicht wasserdicht, den Trocknungsprozess des Leders nach dem Nasswerden unterstützt.

Fabulous service in getting boot out before Xmas despite last minute order. The boots are great.

Last pair purchased 5 years ago and worn out after many many miles. Replacements just as good and after a couple of hours walking felt just as comfortable. For me the wide fitting means boots that actually fit properly and over the years I have tried a range of makes. I am sure when these eventually wear out I will look to buy the same again. Use these when not too wet as they breath much better than full gortex lined boots but fine with limited water.
