Dès son application, elle imperméabilise vos chaussures militaires, et au fil du temps, l’huile pénètre plus profondément dans le cuir et contribue à maintenir sa souplesse. La raison courante pour laquelle le cuir commence à craquer est qu’il est sec et qu’il ne contient pratiquement plus d’huile. La majeure partie de la cire reste près de la surface, ce qui assure l’imperméabilité.
Comme avec tous les traitements, l’utilisation constante de l’huile-cire Leder-Gris peut assombrir l’apparence de vos chaussures, mais utilisée conjointement avec Leder-Glos, elle aidera à maintenir l’imperméabilité et la brillance de la surface de la chaussure.

Mode d’emploi
La méthode idéale pour traiter vos chaussures avec Leder-Gris est de brosser la cire-huile sur des chaussures presque sèches – le fait que les chaussures soient presque sèches aide la cire-huile à pénétrer dans le cuir.

I don't write reviews as a rule but the service i received merits it.
JB's knowledgeable and Informative staff listened to my request and helped with choosing a Last pattern and size (one half size up & A Forme) to suit my feet.
They recommended, but only after i asked (it wasn't an upsell) the Svartz Absorber Footbeds (so glad i got them). I also invested in some Leder Gris, staff advising the basic carton would be good enough, i wouldn't require the parade ground gloss pack for my needs. again well worth it for the weather protection (lots of grass and mud here)
This all worked out very well. Boots were initially "snug" but the obvious high quality of materials and workmanship allow the boot to break in naturally.
It adds confidence that when the boots wear down, Alt Berg will repair them at their own factory.
Despite being in a busy period catching up after xmas/newyear orders JB got the boots out that day, to arrive the following day.
They also went out of their way to honor a discount code I applied late.
I have no hesitation in recommending both John Bull as a retailer, and Alt Berg products.
When I buy again, both JB and Alt Berg will be the first port of call.

Let's start with the speed of delivery. I ordered these boots in the afternoon and I had them at my door the next day. Super quick delivery. No problems at all.
